This includes supplying updated virus protection software and ad ware software that removes potentially damaging programs from your computer. Then of course there is the obvious. You should keep your system away from liquids, food and overly hot conditions. You should clean your keyboard on occasion and make sure you plug your computer into a surge protected outline. You should also periodically free up disk space and clean your computer to make sure it is running optimally. These small steps can help reduce the risk you will lose data in an unexpected crash.
